 I chat in a number of IRC channels and have a handful of people whom I
 prefer to keep permanently on /ignore.  Every few days I need to restart
 Pidgin because it starts to get slow, and when I restart it - or if I
 leave and return to a channel for any reason - I have to scroll through
 the list of names and re-ignore the people in question.  I would love to
 see an auto-ignore feature like other IRC clients have; it would save me a
 bit of time and a lot of stress.
