 Given the quality of digital cameras these days, many people end up with
 very large image files they may wish to share. Whilst Pidgin is happy to
 send these files, it can take a relatively long time to send a large image
 file (which will often only be glanced at for a few seconds). It would be
 nice if Pidgin could offer to resize images when sending, to lower the
 time taken between mentioning an image in a conversation to it actually
 being received and viewed - uploading a few meg on domestic ADSL takes a
 good few minutes, and is unnecessary in most cases
