 Purple Plugin Pack installed (after problems cropped up, issue not related
 to PPP)

 2.3.1, Psychic Mode 2.3.1, Release Notification 2.3.1, SIM-fix 2.2.0,
 Windows Pidgin Options 2.3.1
 Protocols tested: AIM, MSN

 After repeated testing, absolutely no text displays after the '<'
 character is entered. For example:

 Hi, did you know that 5 < 8?

 Would instead display as

 Hi, did you know that 5

 This occurs no matter where the '<' symbol is thrown. I have not tested
 for further characters but it appears as though the less than character is
 the only one throwing up this issue.
