 socks5 and custom variable. I try all the options none of them working.

 Oops. That option isn't yet available we didn't add it to 2.3.1 at the
 last minute as to not screw over the translators by adding a new string.
 You'll have to wait until 2.4.0 (or use an XMPP server that advertises the
 file transfer proxy (gtalk doesn't)).
