 Steps to reproduce:
  - In Preferences->Status/Idle->Status at Startup, uncheck "Use status
 from last exit at startup", and then select one of the default statuses
 like Available or Offline.
  - Set your Pidgin status to something other than the one you set as the
 default.
  - Quit Pidgin, then start it again.

 Observed behavior:
  - Pidgin is set to the status that was set when you exited
 Expected behavior:
  - Pidgin should be set to the default status that you set in preferences.
