Comment:

 I have been running Pidgin with the debug log active now and till now it's
 not yet hanged, so I haven't attached mine yet. On the other hand, it
 hanged one time at startup. To be precise it didn't hang, it just stood
 there allocating RAM more and more without even connecting and in the
 debug window there were loads and loads of hexadecimal characters passing
 by. I had to terminate it but I couldn't manage to get a log of what
 happened. I'm going to try to get a screenshot next time it happens.
