 I'm using Pidgin for Windows on Vista Home Premium Edition.

 I am logged into the same two Jabber chat rooms all day and sometimes
 leave my machine idle. I have noticed that if my machine goes idle or
 sleeps and I come back to it:
  1) Pidgin has not been updating the chat windows for a while (presumably
 as long as the machien has been idle/asleep)

  2) Pidgin no longer updates the chat windows

  3) Pidgin does not let me submit messages to the chat

 The only way to be able to chat again is to quit and restart Pidgin.

 I could live with problem 1) if the others weren't the case! I'd be
 satisfied if Pidgin simply reconnected to the chat rooms when Vista woke
 up after being idle/asleep.
