 MSN+, another MSN client (and maybe other clients) enable users to custom
 their name with bbcode formatting tags. For example, using
 [c=anumber][i]MyName[/i][/c] displays MyName in italic and red in the
 buddy list.

 The problem is that this is not part of the protocol so it displays
 something quite ugly with other clients. I know it may sounds dirty to
 write code specific to other clients, but it would be great to add a
 little parser that get rid of these tags and enable it with a check box in
 the configuration.

 Is it something feasible?
