#4883: SIMPLE could not resolve hostname
--------------------+-------------------------------------------------------

When trying to log in to a SIMPLE account, an error message is shown:
Could not resolve hostname. This message appears below the (empty) Buddy
List immediately when I start the program, before (or after, see below) I
enter my password. Pressing Ignore or Reconnect just clears the message
area. But there is a difference: if I restart the program after pressing
Ignore, the message does not appear until I enter my password. I seem to
be 'Available', but probably not logged in, as I'm not allowed to add
buddies. Nor am I able to see (with tcpdump) other network traffic than
 DNS queries being generated.

I had this same error in Adium 1.0.6 in OS X 10.3.9, and now in Pidgin in
Windows 2000. I've chosen 'Use UDP'. I've tried with and without SIP
proxy. (Am I doing something wrong or am I just the first to use this
 protocol?)
