 I'm running Vista. When using Traditional Chinese keyboard input, Pidgin
 is the only program where my characters don't appear in the text box as I
 type, but rather in a corner where it appears to be written in a temporary
 text box.

 Also, there is this annoyingly loud beep (appears to be a system thing,
 volume cannot be adjusted through mixer) that happens when an invalid
 phonetic is typed.

 Can these two problems be fixed through changing program settings?
