 For the life of me, I can't figure out why for only one of my friends
 (that I've noticed at least), the sound doesn't go off when I send or
 receive a message for her.  She's using AIM (unsure of which version)
 while I'm using Pidgin 2.3.1.  At first I thought it was because she was
 away; but recently, she hasn't been away while she's been talking.  Might
 that have something to do with it?

 Using WinXP, by the way.
