 I'm running Pidgin 2.3.1 on W2K.  Our IM system is Notes 6.51, Sametime
 3.1 (Meanwhile) 6.5.1

 Since upgrading to 2.3.1, the status bubbles that appear next to entries
 in the Buddy List are frequently wrong.  Many will show as offline when
 the user is actually online and available.  I double-click to create a
 conversation with them and ping them to discover the true status:  It
 succeeds or I get a msg "user is not online".  Either way, the status
 remains incorrect in the Buddy List.  The problem never occurs in the
 other direction:  buddies listed as online/available always are.

 The prior version of the application (GAIM) did not have this problem.
