 On Linux, I have the message notification plugin enabled with the option
 'Set window manager "URGENT" hint' checked.  It works as expected for
 Gnome/Metacity, Gnome/Compiz, KDE3/Kwin, and KDE4/Kwin (with and without
 compositing turned on), but not for KDE3/Compiz (I haven't tried
 KDE4/Compiz).  Other options such as 'Insert count of new messages into
 window title' work with no issues.
