 I've noticed the pattern, the only things I was able to send were nudges
 and files. I asked around 3 different Live 8.5 users until I concluded
 that it was the client. I had to switch back to Pidgin 2.3.1 to actually
 talk to them.

 I didn't see anything wrong, and according to my buddy he did receive
 those messages from the Debug Log I posted, so I really don't know how it
 got fixed, but I'm glad it did ;)
