 I've added two attachments. The first is the output of the command:

 party is the one that tries to send a message in Lucida Sans Typewriter.

 The second is my own client's received and sent commands. It shows what
 commands the buddy gets from the switchboard. I don't know if it's
 ''that'' useful, but I've attached it just in case.
