 I run Vista & just installed Pidgin. I use the keyboard a lot, and find
 shortcut keys to be very fast (ex: Ctrl+Left, Ctrl+Right). I noticed that
 Pidgin behaves differently than other Windows applications with regard to
 what is a "word". With Ctrl+Right, Windows apps skip to the beginning of
 the next word ("words" are separated by one or more spaces or one or more
 punct).

 With all other Windows apps, here is how the carrot moves with Ctrl+Right:
 (state 0) |wordA, wordB
 (state 1) wordA, |wordB
 With Pidgin we have:
 (state 1) wordA|, wordB
 (state 1) wordA, wordB|
