 At least I know it happends in MSN Messenger. While having a conversation
 if the other person sends an emoticon and for some reason the conection to
 the Internet is interrupted, if you try to put the mouse over the icon to
 see the hint that tells you what does it say or with characters where user
 on it, it doesn't show the hint and even worse, if you click on it several
 times with left click, and then right click on it, pidgin shuts down.

 I've been having this problem for a while but I wasn't able to reproduce
 it. Hope is right and you can reproduce it too.
