 I am also seeing the same problem after upgrading from 2.2.2 to 2.3.1 -
 the IM session would just suddenly / randomly disappear; the whole window
 just closes including all tabs. I only use XMPP accounts with Pidgin so I
 don't know if this is protocol-specific. It doesn't happen too often but
 it is very frustrating when it does happen.
