#4611: Wrong implementation of diacritics
--------------------------+-------------------------------------------------
 Reporter: Toontje | Type: defect
   Status: new | Priority: minor
Component: pidgin (gtk) | Version: 2.3.1
 Keywords: keyboard | Pending: 0
--------------------------+-------------------------------------------------
I'm using an US-International keyboard setting which allow me to type á,
é, ò and other diacritics by typing the ' first and then the letter i want
to have the ' on. For example, to type á, i would type the ' and directly
after that i type the a.
This is supposed to work only for vocals like a, e, o, i, u. Not for non-
 vocals like k, g, t, p, etc. With non-vocals i should get 's if i type the
' first and then the s.
In Pidgin it works on all letters. So i am able to create ś which is a
letter that doesn't exist in US-International.
Please make Pidgin's behavior consistent with all other Windows
 applications.

 Thanks,

 Ton.
