Comment:

 Revision [3dc120bb73d0a2d3ce3f6339e0882bd0321e24c8] in monotone is a merge
 between the branches `im.pidgin.pidgin` and
 `im.pidgin.cpw.rekkanoryo.yahoop15ft` and exists on both branches.  This
 patch is now going to be included in Pidgin 2.4.0.

 I have tested personally everything I could think of to test and can find
 no problems.  At this point I believe it's safe to ship this code in
 Pidgin.
