 I'm not sure where this should be reported, but I'm seeing a compiler
 warning
 with the Novell code in Pidgin. I don't know how to fix it and I know that
 Novell typically maintains this code.

 nmfield.c: In function '_free_field_value':
 nmfield.c:172: warning: dereferencing type-punned pointer will break
 strict-aliasing rules
