 Pidgin's "New Buddy Pounces" dialog's text field for the "Send a message"
 action does not respect the gtkrc-2.0 bind settings.

 This is particularly annoying for users who've configured their bindings,
 as per the FAQ, to use Enter to designate a newline - this introduces a
 really, really annoying mismatch in the text-entry behavior.

 I see this behavior on Windows.  I assume it exists on all supported
 Pidgin platforms, but cannot actually confirm this.
