 Under Windows with MSN there was the option to make an Alias in the Form
 "myAliasPrefix - itsCurrentFriendlyName".

 Is there some way to achieve that with Pidgin? Maybe a plugin?

 Maybe that was only with Messenger Plus!, but I think it was a great
 feature. I know the Friendly Name wasn't designed to be changed every now
 and then, but there are many people doing exactly that anyway.
