 You can get a log of what happens when the program freezes by doing the
 following:

 *Open the Terminal.app (it is in the /Applications/Utilities folder)
 *Start AdiumX and log in; do exactly whatever it is that you do that
 causes the freeze to occur (it's easy, just sign into all your IM
 accounts)
 *In the Terminal, enter the command
 {{{
 top
 }}}
 *Note the PID for Adium then exit "top" by pressing "q"
 *Now enter the following command, with the PID in the space indicated:

 {{{
 sample [PID] 5 -file ~/Desktop/Adium_freeze_log.txt
 }}}

 (Or use another path and file name.)

 This will give you a file that logs what is happening while Adium freezes,
 which you can upload to this thread and give the Pidgin developers
 something to work with. Chances are, it will look very similar to what I
 have already posted but every little bit helps. :)
