 MSN is silently dropping messages (not receiving them from my contacts).
 This happens periodically - i.e. some are received some aren't (normally
 mid-conversation, leaving me to think the other person is just being
 rude). I have tried using Pidgin in both http and non-http modes.

 When I sign into Microsoft MSN/WLM on my XP machine, all the old messages
 are received as "offline messages".

 ''Some'' of my contacts, but not all, are reporting that I'm "appearing
 offline" and not able to start conversations with me even when I am signed
 in as "online".

 Has anyone else noticed this?
