Comment:

 I don't think we should support registration for protocols that don't
 support it natively in the protocol, and AIM does not.  We already support
 this for XMPP.  I'm not sure if any other networks allow you to register
 for an account through the protocol.  Also, you can register for an aim
 account with Firefox...
