 It is possible. Unfortunately, I'm unable to test this using the official
 client, as I have a Ubuntu-only workstation. However, the problem has
 persisted for a few months now, and I suspect if the offical Microsoft
 client did the same, then people would be up in arms, and Microsoft would
 have been forced to change it.
