 1. XMPP-Mucs do not show past joins and parts in their chatlogs. (maybe i
 am misunderstanding you, i  just want to clearify this)

 2. MUC history is probably not shown here because either chatlogging has
 been turned of by the room owner or because the room was deleted when the
 last person left because the channel was not set as persistent (afaik,
 room deletion causes history deletion as well).
