#4748: While clicking a link in the IM window, i am getting an error

 I am using pidgin 2.3.1 for windows. When ever some one types in a link in
 the IM window, if i try to click that link I'm getting an error "This file
 does not have a program associated with it performing this action. Create
 an association in the Folder Options control panel." I have already
 installed yahoo messenger, google talk, skype etc. in all those
 applications, the links are working when i click. Could you please explain
 me how to create the association ie which file type should i add..
