 Not that I know of. It worked up until the day before I submitted the bug,
 and nothing has changed on my computer in the meantime. Besides, if you
 look at the log, I can get to the mean authentication server fine, it's
 the first NS redirection that kills me.

 I've managed to isolate the problem a little. I've attached a patch that I
 wrote that allows me to connect; what I *think* happens is that when
 blu.gateway.edge.messenger.live.com replies to our VER command, it only
 replies for MSNP14, and the prpl seems to look for MSNP13 in the reply (I
 don't know why). I've changed it to look for MSNP14 instead and everything
 works fine.

 Please note that I'm not asking for you to add the patch as-is as I know
 it's a hack. I'm just hoping it will help you understand what's going on.
