 Hi everyone,

 This is my first time filing a ticket, so please bear with me.  I'm
 currently experiencing trouble changing display names for my MSN accounts
 in Pidgin 2.4.3 on both my desktop and notebook (specs provided below).
 I've tried to change the names by going through the Accounts menu,
 highlighting the account and selecting "Set Friendly Name", but after
 changing it, an older name appears in chats, and it's been stuck with that
 one.  If I try to change the name again by going into the Set Friendly
 Name window, it shows the new name I set.  I also turned off the plugins I
 was using and restarted Pidgin one at a time to see if they were the
 culprit, but nothing changed.

 If you could please look into this or provide any advice on how to resolve
 it, it'd be deeply appreciated.

 Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 (problem was occurring before I installed
 SP1 )
