 In the logs and chat Chinese appears as boxes (as attached in the picture)

 However, if I am to copy and paste these boxes into Notepad (also please
 see the picture), the Chinese displays correctly.

 I was wondering what I can do allow these characters to correct display in
 Pidgin?
