 Additional info: If Google Talk loses it's connection, when the connection
 is restored, it will fill Pidgin's "New Mail" window with duplicate email
 notifications.  This may have something to do with the crash.  As far as I
 know, Google Talk is the only protocol that will render duplicate email
 notifications upon connection loss/restoral.
