 At one point, this window could be opened via the tray icon menu, but that
 menu item seems to have been removed. Thus, to get the window back up,
 I've got to open the buddy list, open the transfer window via that window,
 and then close the buddy list window if I didn't want it.

 File transfer status should really be put somewhere clearer like in the
 tray icon tooltip or as a progress bar within the conversation tab of the
 person sending or receiving the file, but this sounds more like a plugin
 feature than a trunk feature.

 That said, minimise is a real must -- some of us have realise that, since
 Win98, clicking a tray icon twice will show, then minimise a window, great
 for just glancing at status. With the File Transfers window, this fails:
 the window appears, and then won't go away. There's no reason why it
 should behave differently.

 Note that the log viewer also cannot be minimised, which is also
 frustrating.
