Comment:

 Open the Help->Debug Window and capture the xml output of your account
 signing on to the server. Remove any authentication data, it will likely
 be base64 encoded (search for auth and/or sasl to find it) then paste the
 rest of it here or attach it as a file here. Ideally it would be good if
 you could include the output of your removing a buddy and subsequently
 getting status updates as well.
