 I built 2.4.3 with ./configure --enable-debug, but I'm still getting very
 few debugging symbols.  I also tried building 2.4.3 with CC="gcc -g", but
 got few (no?) debugging symbols that way either.  What do I need to do to
 get debugging symbols added to a build of pidgin 2.4.3?
