 It looks like the MSN part of Pidgin lacks support for animoticons. This
 is the message I'm getting from the server when someone sends me an
 animoticon (it's in italian, don't ask me why):

 "(17.10.17) Xxxxxx: Xxxxxx ha inviato un'animoticon che richiede la
 versione più recente di Windows Live Messenger. Per scaricare la versione
 più recente di Windows Live Messenger, vai a
 http://g.msn.com/5meen_us/122."

 which roughly translates to "Xxxxxx sent you an animoticon that requires a
 newer version of Windows Live Messenger. To download the latest Windows
 Live Messenger, go to http://g.msn.com/5meen_us/122"
