 This message shows up frequently: "Your message was not sent.  Either end
 your private conversation, or restart it."

 It occurs if I have closed my message window with a buddy and reopen the
 window.  I feel that closing the message window should be enough to end my
 private conversation and reopening it should be enough to restart it.

 What really makes this so annoying is that whatever message I have typed
 in is not buffered in anyway and then is lost in the ether.  I not only
 have to restart my conversation, I have to retype the message I just
 attempted to send.

 While this may not be a bug, it is extremely annoying.
