 When I send or receive a file during a MSN chat (haven't tried it for
 other protocols) the maximum speed I get is '''2 or 3 KiB/s'''.[[BR]]

 I am sure that this is a problem with Pidgin and not with my connection or
 the senders connection because I asked him to resend me the same file, but
 this time I logged in using aMSN. No speed problems with the file transfer
 there! I received the same 1MB file in 5-6 seconds.
