 Google has now a service known as Google Apps.  See www.google.com/a this
 service allows you to use a domain name with all of the back-end such as
 gmail, docs etc.

 You are currently unable to use Pidgin when using this service.

 The problem is that as an example the @owasp.org domain is hosted with
 google apps., when attempting to use pidgin with the username of
 tomb at owasp.org i am unable to instruct the client properly to communicate
 with google.  It appears that the client when set-up for Googletalk, it is
 looking at the username: in the case tomb at owasp.org and the domain: is by
 default @gmail.com

 Of course googletalk works properly when using the googletalk client...
 but we love pidgin ;)

 Any thoughts on this bug would be great
