 Thanks for reporting this!  I don't know about 2.0.0, it's a year old now
 and almost certainly contains bugs which 2.4.2 (the most recent release)
 does not.  I was able to isolate and fix a few debugging messages which
 were not UTF-8 safe, and could thus cause crashes in glib.  I cannot find
 any farther crashes; if you can identify any crashes after 2.5.0 is
 released, please submit backtraces so that they can be fixed.

 I'll keep a copy of this tool around for future testing!
