 I access a corporate XMPP multi-user-chat server that unfortunately
 contains many users with nicks with embedded spaces.

 Unfortunately, there is no way to grant voice to such a user.  For
 instance, for a nick '''{{{Foo Bar}}}''' would like to do '''{{{/role "Foo
 Bar" participant}}}'''.

 Note the relationship to #264 -- if that were resolved, I would not need
 this as urgently...
