 I stand corrected, I forgot to 'make uninstall' the 2.4.2--enapble-msnp14
 build. I rebuilt 2.4.2 without msnp14, and it works now. It was indeed
 msnp14 crashing pidgin.

 I have a question though: Can I compile using msnp14's status-message
 option, but leave out the OIM functionality? Seeing the OIM's are crashing
 pidgin, and I never really use them, I'd like to still read my contacts'
 personal messages. Is there a way to do this? Maybe through a patch?
