 I've noticed a number of problems with Zephyr in 2.4.1. Firstly,

  - Contacts added to the buddy list will appear online only for that
 session; once Pidgin is restarted, they appear offline again
  - When configured with --with-zephyr=/usr/ (where libzephyr is on my
 system), Pidgin sometimes segfaults on exit (with a single Zephyr account
 enabled)
  - With (but not necessarily only with) a large number of Zephyr contacts
 in the buddy list, Pidgin's UI occasionally lags for a second or two at
 30-60s intervals

 While I haven't tested 2.4.2 as extensively, these don't seem to be fixed.
