 The old MSN protocol DOES NOT support offline messages. That's why '''it
 isn't fixed'''. The only way to fix this is using MSNP14/15 instead of
 MSNP9 which seems to be a rather complicated task.

 The existing MSNP14/15 implementation has not yet been released because it
 still has some major bugs, but '''receiving offline messages works'''.

 This ticket has been closed because the work that can and needs to be done
 on this issue is done and because the issue will be fixed in a future
 version (maybe not before 3.0.0).

 The work that needs to be done in order to make MSNP14/15 and thereby MSN
 offline messages work is fixing #4874, #4875, #4876, #4877 #5212, #5377,
 #5379 and #5982.
