 I cannot change/save the "alias" for any of my buddies to give them
 nicknames.

 Step to reproduce:
 1. Open Pidgin
 2. Connect to AOL/Yaho/MSN service
 3. Add buddies, if none already in list
 4. Right-click on a buddy in list, and click "Alias"
 5. Type in the new Alias, then click off or hit "Enter" to save
 6. Pidgin crashes.
