 I recently re-installed my Windows XP Installation, and therefore had
 ClearType on. When I turned it off and Pidgin was still running, all of
 its windows (including the right-click menu via the system tray) still
 have ClearType smoothing even though I turned it off. However, this is
 fixed by restarting Pidgin by exiting and and starting it again. However,
 other windows (Like Firefox) don't have this issue.

 You may not be able to see it very well, but I've included a screenshot of
 this.
