 I travel on a laptop and am frequently changing internet interfaces
 (mostly between a WAN card and standard wireless).  I've noticed that when
 I leave one network type and join another, XMPP refuses to reconnect,
 giving a 'read error'.  My AIM account handles this change in interfaces
 fine.  The only way I can get the XMPP account back online is to fully
 disable then re-enable the account.
