 This bug is related with 4986 one.

 > I'd like to ask everyone to please wait for the next release (2.4.2).
 Please try that release for at least two days. At that time, if you're
 still unhappy with this feature as implemented then, please let us know
 why.

 I've looked 2.4.2 version and your new crutches for autoresize feature. So
 new preference option do not solve any problems with bug at all.

 We are still hate your feature.
