 That isn't an improvement in the reconnect functionality. That is simply
 reconnecting without telling you about it in the first place. That seems
 like a poor idea to me, and this isn't the place to request that. If you
 can come up with a coherent explanation of what you want pidgin to do
 exactly and how that will not negatively affect the people who wanted the
 quicker notification feel free to submit a new enhancement request ticket
 for it.
